Agartala, Tripura: The father of two-year-old Monoshree Chowdhury, who is battling Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1, met Bubagra Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma at Rajbari, seeking financial assistance for his daughter’s treatment.
According to Monoshree’s father, Dhruba Choudhury, he approached Bubagra Pradyot with an appeal for support as the family continues its efforts to arrange the substantial funds required for the child’s treatment.
Following the meeting, Dhruba Choudhury shared an emotional message on social media expressing his gratitude. He stated that Bubagra Pradyot had assured the family of help in their difficult situation.
In his message, Monoshree’s father referred to the historical tradition of people turning to the Maharaja for support during times of crisis. He said that, in their struggle to save his young daughter, the family had also come to Rajbari seeking support and expressed gratitude for the assurance of assistance.
He wrote that, in earlier times, people facing difficulties would turn to the Maharaja’s door as their last refuge, and said that the family had similarly sought the Maharaja’s support during their present crisis.
Dhruba Choudhury also expressed his gratitude for Bubagra Pradyot’s gesture, saying that his support had given the family renewed courage during their difficult struggle.
