Agartala: Ahead of the upcoming 10th Session of the 13th Tripura Legislative Assembly, scheduled to begin on 27 August 2026, Karmachhara MLA Paul Dangshu has submitted a series of questions focusing on job security, regularisation, salary revisions and honorarium-related issues affecting various categories of workers and employees.
The questions have been submitted in advance for consideration during the upcoming Assembly session. They cover issues concerning ICT instructors, Block Resource Persons (BRPs), Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs), Anganwadi workers and helpers, vocational teachers, Special Police Officers (SPOs), as well as Ayurveda and Homoeopathy medical officers.
Questions on ICT Instructors
One of the questions submitted by Dangshu concerns the ICT instructors who served under the ICT 365 Project across 347 schools in Tripura.
The question seeks to know whether the government is considering re-employing or re-engaging the ICT instructors whose services were discontinued in March 2026.
The issue is expected to draw attention from the affected instructors, who are seeking clarity regarding their future employment opportunities.
Regularisation of BRPs and CRPs
Another question focuses on the regularisation of Block Resource Persons (BRPs) and Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs).
Dangshu has sought information on what initiatives have been taken by the government to regularise the services of BRPs and CRPs and whether any concrete steps are being considered in this regard.
Honorarium and services of Anganwadi workers
The MLA has also submitted a question concerning Anganwadi Centre (AWC) workers and helpers.
The question seeks details of government initiatives to increase their honorarium and regularise their services.
Job security for vocational teachers
Another issue raised through the submitted questions relates to vocational teachers.
Dangshu has asked whether the government has initiated any plan to provide job security and periodic revision of honorarium for vocational teachers.
Job security and salary revision for SPOs
A separate question concerns Special Police Officers (SPOs).
The government has been asked whether any plan has been initiated to provide job security and salary revisions for SPOs, and, if not, the reasons behind the absence of such a plan.
Recruitment of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy medical officers
Dangshu has also submitted a question regarding the recruitment of Ayurveda Medical Officers and Homoeopathy Medical Officers through the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC).
The question seeks to know whether the government has any plan to recruit such medical officers through TPSC. If there is a plan, the government has been asked to clarify when the recruitment process is likely to take place.
Questions submitted ahead of Assembly session
The issues submitted by Paul Dangshu cover employment security, regularisation, remuneration and recruitment across several sectors.
